Position Overview
Parsons Corporation is seeking a highly experienced Planning Engineer to join our Dubai-based infrastructure team. This role focuses on scheduling, project controls, and delay analysis for major community development projects involving utilities, roads, and urban infrastructure systems.

What You ll Do
 
* Review and approve contractors  baseline schedules in compliance with contract standards
* Develop and manage integrated master schedules across multiple infrastructure packages
* Perform ongoing analysis of progress reports and schedule updates to flag slippages
* Conduct  what-if  scenarios and delay impact assessments before instruction issuance
* Lead detailed assessments of claims including EOTs, disruptions, and concurrent delays
* Prepare monthly reports, dashboards, and presentations on progress and schedule health
* Coordinate directly with contractors and clients to resolve planning-related challenges
* Attend technical, progress, and coordination meetings; prepare minutes and follow-up logs
* Maintain delay notices, PMS logs, and project trackers to ensure documentation accuracy
* Utilize Primavera P6 and project control best practices to maintain schedule integrity
 
Ideal Profile
 
* Bachelor s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Construction Management
* 10+ years of planning and scheduling experience in infrastructure and utilities projects
* Proven background in community development projects in the UAE or wider Gulf region
* Expertise in Primavera P6 and solid understanding of contract conditions and scheduling standards
* Strong analytical, communication, and claims review skills, including delay analysis techniques
* Knowledge of local authority coordination and construction sequence for civil works
