Planning Engineer - Landscape Experience Required

Roles & Responsibilities:

• To prepare construction program in Primavera & MS Projects in addition to preparation of 'S' Curve, Manpower histogram etc. Should evaluate project progress against historical indicators on Weekly basis and interact on daily basis with Consultant/Subcontractors regarding progress of work. Coordinate with engineering & procurement department regarding interfacing of construction activities, materials & equipment availability.
• Prepare the weekly and monthly reports with co-ordination of site team and report to Project Manager.
• Prepare the dashboard report with baseline v/s actual activity on weekly bases to highlight the delayed activity and distribute to all operation team.
• Updates the financial analysis database for unit costs of the BOQ items, during different phases of the projects. Informs concerned parties as required.
• Supervises to determine the value of variations ordered by the Design Manager to ensure a fair assessment and assists inequitable settlement of the cost of the project in accordance with the contract conditions.
• Implement a cost-efficient method for Construction, following design approvals, shop drawings approval. Keep watch on various activities of project i.e. delivery of materials site clearance etc. and updating the Project Manager.
• Constantly monitors costs by matching the actual against contracted amounts. Prepares monthly cash-flow forecasts and exercises cost control. Report findings to the Director and Project Managers throughout all project management phases.
• Liaise with PM’s /QS Team and monitor /raise / maintain all Extension of Time (EOT) & Variation Order Claim (VO) from a planning perspective.
• Any other duties assigned in either Planning or any other Projects function

Requirements:

• B.E. or B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a reputable institution, with 8 to 10 years of experience in the landscaping industry.
• Preferably with certification in Primavera and/or other project planning software, with expertise in planning and scheduling large projects within the landscaping industry.
