Planning Engineer - Lighting

We are looking for a skilled Planning Engineer (Electrical) with solid experience in the lighting industry to join our team at Elsewedy Engineering Industries . The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of lighting products manufacturing processes , including component assembly, testing, and production flow. This role focuses on planning, scheduling, and coordinating production activities to ensure the efficient and timely delivery of high-quality lighting products that meet customer and project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and monitor production and project schedules related to lighting products.
• Coordinate with production, procurement, and quality teams to ensure material availability and smooth operations.
• Analyze workflow, production capacity, and lead times to optimize efficiency and minimize delays.
• Prepare weekly/monthly production plans aligned with customer delivery schedules.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure production aligns with company timelines and standards.
• Support process improvement initiatives within lighting production planning.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in production or planning within the lighting industry.
• Strong knowledge of lighting product components, assembly, and electrical systems.
• Good knowledge of BOMs, production cycles, and lead times.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and project planning tools .
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
