Key Responsibilities – Mechanical Planning, Coordination & Project Management

Develop and maintain detailed project plans and schedules for mechanical engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery in line with company objectives.

Coordinate with engineering, production, and sales teams to communicate project requirements and align priorities throughout the lifecycle of each project.

Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders to gather technical requirements, clarify project specifications, and secure approvals as needed.

Monitor and report on project progress, resolving scheduling conflicts and implementing corrective actions to address any delays or issues.

Optimise resource allocation, documenting and adjusting plans to accommodate changes in scope or client needs while maintaining efficiency.

Facilitate risk assessments and mitigation planning to ensure project continuity and safety.

Support the sales team with technical input during proposal preparation, including technical presentations and client consultations.
Required Skills – Technical Knowledge, Communication & Selling Skills

Strong technical knowledge in mechanical engineering principles, processes, and best practices.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling clear interaction with clients, colleagues, and team members at all levels.

Demonstrated selling skills, especially in explaining technical concepts and presenting project solutions to clients.

Proficiency in project planning software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6) and standard engineering tools.

Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contracts fluently.
Qualifications & Experience – Mechanical Planning Engineer

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

Proven experience in planning, scheduling, or coordination roles within mechanical engineering, manufacturing, or similar industries.
