Role Overview

We are seeking a results-driven Planning Engineer with proven experience in wastewater networks, pumping stations, and lifting station construction. This role is mission-critical to ensuring project timelines are realistic, risks are mitigated early, and execution remains aligned with contractual milestones. The ideal candidate understands infrastructure complexity and can translate site realities into actionable, data-driven schedules.


Key Responsibilities


  • Develop, baseline, and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or equivalent planning software.
  • Prepare integrated master schedules covering wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, and lifting stations.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to align sequencing and resource allocation.
  • Track progress against planned activities and implement recovery strategies where slippage occurs.
  • Conduct critical path analysis and provide proactive mitigation plans.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports with KPI dashboards for management and client review.
  • Support claims management by maintaining accurate delay analysis and documentation.
  • Participate in technical coordination meetings and provide planning insights to drive decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, specifications, and project controls standards.


Technical Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related discipline.
  • 5–10 years of experience in infrastructure projects, specifically wastewater, pumping stations, and lifting stations.
  • Strong command of Primavera P6 (mandatory).
  • Solid understanding of MEP coordination within pumping/lifting station projects.
  • Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and delay analysis methodologies (EOT, impact analysis).
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel for reporting and data analysis.
