📊 Senior Planning Engineer – Egypt

ACWA Power is driving the future of energy and water with projects that deliver reliability, efficiency, and sustainable growth. As we strengthen our operations in Egypt, we are looking for a Senior Planning Engineer to join our Engineering team.

This role is central to ensuring our plants operate at peak performance. You’ll be responsible for maintenance planning, outage management, performance monitoring, and project mobilization across the Egypt cluster – directly impacting the reliability and availability of critical assets.

What you’ll be doing:

• Monitor plant performance against KPIs, prepare MIS reports, and drive corrective actions with plant teams.
• Scope and plan major overhauls, outages, and long-term maintenance strategies.
• Lead initiatives on resource optimization, spares management, and cost variance control.
• Support mobilization of new projects, ensuring O&M readiness and CMMS data alignment.
• Ensure compliance with corporate outage procedures, safety standards, and budget guidelines.
• Share lessons learned across the cluster and drive continuous improvement.

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or equivalent).
• 6–8 years’ planning experience in power/water utilities (conventional & renewable).
• Strong knowledge of SAP, CMMS, MS Project, and Power BI (Primavera a plus).
• Solid O&M experience with understanding of PPAs, outage planning, and reliability programs.
• Excellent communication, planning, and stakeholder engagement skills.
