Planning Manager
§ -Evaluate different options for allocating workload in line with customers requirements the objective maximizing capacity utilizations and minimizing change overs
- Maintain and ensure that the consolidated master plans for all production lines are always up to date and keep the business regularly informed on forecasted and realized utilizations.
- Explore and develop the Baan system capabilities to be used as the main planning platform for all confirmed , forecasted sales demand.
- Keep the business up to-date with reliable information about the current and forreasted spare capacities.
- Providing time-phased consumption forecast for the raw material and trading goods
- Update the business on the delivery performance of the manufacturing units and monitor progress against commitments to ensure that customers reqirements are being met.
- Make sure the lead planners are having each plant`s production schedule per section / machine and the same is having all forecasted orders
- Make sure the lead planners have prepared the consolidated project production plan.
Ensure all saled orders have been entered by sales order planning and that order completed have been cancelled so that he can plan with LAN
- Ensure That all Orders have a realistic and accurate delivery date that will spread across the life of the order and not exceed the final contracted deiver date
Skills
§ Diploma in Engineering / Bachelor Degree
Preferred Experience:
§ 5 years of project planning experience in industry in project based environment
§ 3 years experience in ERP planning environment.
