Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Planning Manager to lead the planning and project controls function for Roads & Bridges infrastructure projects. The role is responsible for establishing robust project schedules, ensuring effective progress monitoring, managing delays, and supporting successful project delivery across multiple large-scale civil works.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development, implementation, and management of project planning and scheduling systems for Roads & Bridges projects
Oversee preparation of baseline programs, detailed construction schedules, and recovery plans
Manage and mentor a team of planning engineers across multiple project sites
Ensure accurate progress tracking, schedule updates, and performance reporting
Conduct critical path analysis, delay analysis, and identify project risks impacting timelines
Coordinate with project managers, construction teams, and commercial departments to align planning activities
Review and validate subcontractor schedules and ensure integration into master program
Support claims management including Extension of Time (EOT) analysis and dispute resolution
Prepare executive-level dashboards, reports, and progress presentations for senior management
Ensure compliance with contractual planning requirements and project controls standards
Drive continuous improvement in planning processes and tools

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline (Master’s preferred)
Minimum 12–18 years of experience in planning and project controls within construction
Strong experience in Roads & Bridges or large-scale infrastructure projects in UAE/GCC
Proven leadership experience managing planning teams
Expert proficiency in Primavera P6 (mandatory) and MS Project
Strong knowledge of delay analysis, EOT claims, and construction methodologies
Experience in multi-project planning and portfolio management
Strong analytical, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
Excellent communication and reporting abilities
