Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Planning Manager to lead the planning and project controls function for Roads & Bridges infrastructure projects. The role is responsible for establishing robust project schedules, ensuring effective progress monitoring, managing delays, and supporting successful project delivery across multiple large-scale civil works.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development, implementation, and management of project planning and scheduling systems for Roads & Bridges projects
  • Oversee preparation of baseline programs, detailed construction schedules, and recovery plans
  • Manage and mentor a team of planning engineers across multiple project sites
  • Ensure accurate progress tracking, schedule updates, and performance reporting
  • Conduct critical path analysis, delay analysis, and identify project risks impacting timelines
  • Coordinate with project managers, construction teams, and commercial departments to align planning activities
  • Review and validate subcontractor schedules and ensure integration into master program
  • Support claims management including Extension of Time (EOT) analysis and dispute resolution
  • Prepare executive-level dashboards, reports, and progress presentations for senior management
  • Ensure compliance with contractual planning requirements and project controls standards
  • Drive continuous improvement in planning processes and tools

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline (Master’s preferred)
  • Minimum 12–18 years of experience in planning and project controls within construction
  • Strong experience in Roads & Bridges or large-scale infrastructure projects in UAE/GCC
  • Proven leadership experience managing planning teams
  • Expert proficiency in Primavera P6 (mandatory) and MS Project
  • Strong knowledge of delay analysis, EOT claims, and construction methodologies
  • Experience in multi-project planning and portfolio management
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent communication and reporting abilities

Pay: AED26,000.00 - AED30,000.00 per month
