Position Title:
Planning Senior Analyst / Specialist
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Planning Senior Analyst / Specialist to support strategic planning, performance management, operational planning, and reporting initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and coordination skills, with experience working on government or large-scale projects. The role requires the ability to manage planning activities, monitor KPIs, and provide strategic insights to support organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and support strategic and operational planning activities.

Develop and maintain planning frameworks, dashboards, KPIs, and reporting structures.

Analyze business performance, forecasts, risks, and resource allocation plans.

Coordinate with departments and stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.

Prepare executive-level reports, presentations, and planning documentation.

Monitor project progress, milestones, and planning deliverables.

Support governance, policy implementation, and process improvement initiatives.

Conduct data analysis and provide recommendations for operational efficiency.

Ensure compliance with organizational standards and government regulations.

Support management in decision-making through accurate planning insights and reporting.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.

Proven experience in planning, reporting, performance management, or PMO-related functions.

Strong analytical, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools.

Ability to manage multiple planning activities and deadlines effectively.

Strong communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications

Mandatory local experience with government exposure.

Arabic Speaker preferred/mandatory.

Relevant professional certifications are preferred.

Experience working with government entities or large transformation programs is highly preferred.

PMP, PMI-PBA, CBAP, or similar certifications will be an advantage.
Experience Required

5–8 years of relevant experience in planning, strategic planning, PMO, performance management, or operational planning.

Experience in government, semi-government, or large enterprise environments is highly preferred.

Proven experience handling reporting, KPI tracking, planning coordination, and executive reporting activities.
