Plant Engineer (UAE Nationals)

Why This Role Matters

Provide technical support for the maintenance and repair of heavy equipment while supervising workshop personnel and distributing work among teams. Ensure adequate spare parts inventory by ordering and managing stock levels. Diagnose complex equipment issues and recommend appropriate repairs while monitoring the progress of maintenance jobs. Maintain compliance with HSE regulations in the workshop and on-site, ensuring all team members follow safety procedures. Report maintenance activities and equipment status to site management and ensure all required records are properly maintained.

What You’ll Drive

• Technical support for heavy equipment maintenance and repair jobs
• Ensure adequate stocks of parts are available.
• Diagnoses difficult problems and recommends repairs
• Organizing the workshop personnel
• Ordering of spare parts
• Distribution of work to teams
• Checking progress of individual jobs
• Adhere to HSE Regulations in the workshop and on the site
• Ensure HSE regulations are followed by his teams
• Reporting to site management, ensuring necessary records are kept

You’re a Great Fit If You Have

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Automation Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position.
• Proven experience working with construction or heavy equipment maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of construction and heavy equipment systems.
• Experience with ERP systems for maintenance and inventory management.
• Familiarity with equipment diagnostic platforms such as CAT SIS, MyLiebherr or similar systems.
• Working knowledge of CAD software.
