Plant Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure the operational efficiency of our plant. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, performing preventative maintenance, and executing new installations. Your expertise in welding, electrical systems, and reading blueprints will be crucial to our success.

• Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime.
• Install, repair, and maintain electrical, electronic, and pneumatic systems.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and diagrams to plan and execute maintenance procedures.
• Conduct tests and inspections to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment logs.
• Adhere to all safety rules and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
• Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.

Required Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or foundry environment.
• Proficiency in operating power equipment and hand/power tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Preferred Skills

• PLC experience.
• Foundry experience.
• Welding certification.
