What Does the Plant Manager Do at Farplas?

Ensure full compliance with occupational health, safety, environmental, and sustainability standards,

Manage and continuously improve factory operations in line with company objectives.

Achieve productivity, quality, delivery, and cost (QCDM) targets,

Prepare annual budgets, investment, and production plans, and manage deviations effectively,

Promote and lead a culture of continuous improvement through Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and Problem Solving (A3) methodologies,

Lead customer audits and enhance customer satisfaction,

Manage team leadership, talent development, and performance management processes for both white-collar and blue-collar employees,

Monitor performance management and development planning for all employees,
-
Support the integration of digitalization, automation, and new technologies into factory processes.
What Are the Requirements for a Plant Manager at Farplas?

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering,
-
Minimum 10 years of production experience, including at least 3 years in a Plant or Production Manager role,

Proven management experience in the automotive industry, particularly in plastic injection and/or painting processes,
-
Strong command of English, both written and spoken,
-
In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Lean tools such as TPS, Lean Production, 5S, OEE, Kanban, Poka-Yoke, and SMED,
-
Familiarity with systems such as SAP, ERP, and MES,
-
Knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and ISO 14001 standards,
-
Solid experience in production management, production planning, maintenance management, factory operations, and quality control,
-
Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills,
-
Excellent verbal and written reporting abilities; result-oriented with strong communication and leadership skills,

Embraces a “Leading from the Shop Floor” approach and can foster team spirit,

Able to collaborate effectively with different functions (production, quality, maintenance, planning),
