We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Plant Manager based at our facility in Unye, Turkey. Reporting to the Vice President, Global Operations, as Plant Manager , you will provide leadership and operational oversight for the site. You will be responsible for setting and executing strategic goals, ensuring efficient operations, and promoting a culture of high performance across all departments.

Position Details

In this role, safety comes first. You’ll lead by example, making sure everyone on site—employees, visitors, and contractors—understands and follows our health and safety policies. You’ll drive a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with HSE standards and addressing any issues quickly and effectively.

You’ll also be responsible for keeping our plant running smoothly. That means overseeing equipment, software, and maintenance schedules, and working closely with external service providers. You’ll help maintain compliance with our Quality Management System and support continuous improvement across all plant operations.

Operationally, you’ll help shape budgets, secure resources, and manage staffing to meet production and quality targets. You’ll assess training needs, support internal communication around quality performance, and take ownership of both annual Hoshin objectives and ad-hoc goals. Creating a positive work environment is key—you’ll lead on employee relations, encourage collaboration through regular meetings, and drive improvements based on feedback from surveys and customer complaints.

You’ll champion operational excellence by leading Kaizen events, promoting high-performance work systems, and involving employees in improvement initiatives. You’ll guide cross-functional teams to solve problems, deliver training on TPM and Kaizen, and track performance metrics like Overall Equipment Effectiveness to keep us moving forward.

Qualifications

We’re looking for a hands-on leader. If you’ve got solid experience in continuous process environments and love driving change, this could be a great fit. You’ll be someone who puts safety first, knows how to connect with people at all levels, and has a knack for simplifying processes and getting results.

You’ll need a strong background in manufacturing and process engineering, along with the ability to lead teams, manage budgets, and deliver improvements. A strategic mindset is key—but so is being practical and ready to roll up your sleeves.

Ideally, you’ll have a degree in metallurgical or mechanical engineering, or at least 10 years of relevant experience. Fluency in English and Turkish is essential, and you should be comfortable using MS Office and familiar with ISO 9001:2015 standards. A valid driving license is also required.
