WHY DO WE NEED YOU?
Reporting to the Area Plant Director, the Plant Manager will be responsible for the personnel, equipment and operations of the Royse City, TX location. The Plant Manager will also carry out duties in the areas of production, inventory, management, productivity, cost control, capital management, safety, and site performance reporting as necessary.
Essential Functions
  • This position will interface with plant personnel on a daily basis to include management of the Royse City, TX team of plant operators.
  • The Plant Manager will interface with the Logistics Manager and Operations Supervisor/Lead to troubleshoot plant/product issues.
  • This position will work collaboratively with the entire organization in a fast paced and entrepreneurial environment.
  • The Plant Manager will oversee the receipt, sorting and planning all incoming sales and orders. They serve as customer contact when needed and troubleshoot any logistics related problems.
  • The Plant Manager will oversee all aspects of production, including scheduling, quality control, inventory control, employee management, safety compliance, and meeting output goals while controlling cost.
  • The Plant Manager is responsible for the management of a small team of plant operators, buyer, bulk load planner, and Operations Analyst to include their training, day-to-day duties and performance reviews.
  • This position will serve as the point of contact for any plant issues at this location.
  • Oversee all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs and compliance for the production site, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local regulations while driving a culture of safety, environmental stewardship, and continuous improvement.
  • The Plant Manager will drive the successful planning, execution, and timely delivery of capital projects in close collaboration with the engineering department.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent level of experience
  • Strong aptitude for basic math and attention to detail in sequential work
  • 3+ years of Manufacturing experience
  • Basic understanding of computers and computer-controlled equipment, with general knowledge and user skills with: Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Internet
