Plant Mechanic

Job brief

We are looking for a Plant Mechanic to Control the efficient operation of all plant equipment by performing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and electronic repair and preventive maintenance. (Travel a Must Louisiana-Texas)

Responsibilities

• • Maintain, troubleshoot, diagnosis, and repair all mechanical and electrical equipment and share knowledge of applicable mechanical concepts/principles to other maintenance personnel.
  • Observes all OSHA and facility safety rules and regulations including the use of personal protective equipment.
  • Assures Preventative maintenance program is conducted on all plant equipment and report and qualify results.
  • Provides emergency unscheduled repairs in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
  • Inform the appropriate facility personnel/supervisors of any necessary modifications or system malfunctions that would affect their area of operation.
  • Monitor, complete, and maintain efficient and accurate paperwork as needed.
  • Performs any other related miscellaneous duties assigned by their leader.

Requirements

• • Must have good communication skills
  • Must pay attention to detail and demonstrate independent reasoning and judgment.
  • Must have the ability to work in and contribute to production improvement, associate involvement and temporary teams as assigned.
  • Possess basic plumbing, and general facilities/building maintenance, machining, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, drafting, and blueprint reading knowledge.
  • General mechanical skills and knowledge relate to troubleshooting and service various equipment
