JOB SUMMARY :The General Manager of Plant Operations is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our manufacturing plant. This role provides strategic leadership in operations, production planning, Purchase, Raw Material, maintenance, quality, safety, manpower management, Dispatch planning, Coordination with sales team & transporters, and continuous improvement while ensuring operational excellence, cost optimization, and adherence to company standards.

Responsibilities include:

• Overseeing all aspects of plant operations to ensure smooth and efficient production.
• Developing and implementing strategies to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
• Monitoring production schedules to meet customer demands and company goals.
• Ensuring that all equipment and machinery are well-maintained and operate efficiently.
• Developing and managing preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
• Coordinating repairs and maintenance activities with minimal disruption to production.
• Enforcing strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
• Conducting regular safety inspections and risk assessments.
• Ensuring all the factory compliances. ? Leading, mentoring, and developing the operations and maintenance team.
• Fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Managing the plants operational budget and controlling costs.
• Identifying cost-saving opportunities and implementing measures to reduce expenses.
• Ensure products meet quality standards, promptly resolve issues, and minimize rejections.
• Implementing quality control procedures and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Developing and implementing long-term strategies for plant growth and improvement.
• Identifying opportunities for innovation and operational excellence.
• Maintaining effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Providing regular updates on plant performance and key initiatives.
• Leadership and manpower grievance resolution.
• Manage plant administration areas.

• Proven experience in plant operations and maintenance management.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.
• Ability to manage budgets and control costs effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
