Your mission, roles and responsibilities

Essential responsibilities and duties

The Plant SQA is responsible of supplier QCD performance for his/her plant.

The main missions of the role are:

• Manage supplier quality issues, claims, and corrective actions (8D), ensuring timely and effective closure.
• Conduct process and product audits and follow up supplier actions through meetings and visits.
• Track supplier performance, drive improvement plans, and manage charge back/debit processes with Purchasing and Accounting.
• Support PPAP for new and modified parts and manage changes to purchased parts during serial production.
• Collaborate with ASQ, Program Quality, SQD, and Purchasing to develop suppliers and improve part/process quality.
• Maintain incoming inspection plans and measurement instructions.
• Report supplier quality indicators and align with internal teams through regular SQA meetings.

Your profile and competencies to succeed

• The ideal candidate will have/be:

  Minimum Education Level: Bachelor Degree in Engineering

  Experience:

  Minimum 3 years experience in a production environment

  Skills and competencies:

  • Quality Basics
  • Supplier PPAP
  • Control Plan
  • MSA, SPC, FMEA
  • Good at technical problem solving methods
  • Daily coaching of people
