Knauf Turkey office is based in Ankara, with 2 plants and 4 quarries serving the Turkish market and exports of our product. We’ve been producing high quality, market-leading gypsum building products for 91 years. Knauf Turkey is a part of Knauf Middle East, Africa & South Asia (MEASA) which is one of Knauf Group's regions. We are now looking for another team mate to join us in Ankara Ahiboz plant as Plasterboard Production Executive.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Production & Process Management
  • Ensure efficient operation of plasterboard production lines.
  • Monitor daily output, quality, and waste levels; take actions for continuous improvement.
  • Lead troubleshooting activities and process optimization initiatives.
  • Support new product and technology implementations.
  • Planning & Coordination
  • Collaborate with planning, logistics, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth flow of production.
  • Align production schedules with material availability and customer needs.
  • Contribute to capacity planning and resource allocation.
  • People Management
  • Lead, coach, and develop production team shift leaders and operators.
  • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Ensure shift handovers, staffing levels, and performance reviews are effectively managed.
  • Take necessary actions to ensure and maintain the engagement of the team.
  • Quality, Safety & Compliance
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and ISO procedures.
  • Work closely with quality and HSE teams to maintain compliance and safety performance.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of non-conformities and implement corrective actions.
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Drive Lean Manufacturing practices, 5S, and Kaizen activities.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction, efficiency gains, and productivity improvements.
  • Foster team engagement in continuous improvement culture.

What We’d Love For You To Have

We are interested in you as a person: your attitude, behaviors and values. As long as you have the willingness to learn anything you need for the role that you don't already have, we'd love to speak to you. If you have experience in the following areas – this is an added advantage:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a production leadership role within gypsum board or related industries.
  • Strong knowledge of production processes, quality systems, and safety regulations.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills. (especially blue collar)
  • Proficient in SAP-PM module and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Residency or willingness to relocate to Ankara / Gölbaşı
