Platform Delivery Manager – Associate Manager
Job location: onsite in Riyadh
Role Overview
Responsible for the end-to-end platform delivery within a single strategic account, ensuring operational excellence, technical leadership, and customer satisfaction. This role requires strong expertise in Linux (optional AIX), Windows Server, enterprise storage, virtualization (VMware), and cloud platforms, with additional value placed on experience with OpenShift
Key Responsibilities

Platform Ownership & Delivery

Act as the primary point of contact for platform services within the account, ensuring consistent delivery and alignment with customer expectations.

Lead coordination across infrastructure towers including compute, storage, virtualization, and cloud services to ensure seamless operations.

Drive integration and optimization of platform-related processes across delivery teams and customer stakeholders.

Technical Leadership

Oversee platform operations with a focus on Linux systems administration, Windows Server, storage infrastructure (EMC, etc.), virtualization technologies (VMware), and cloud environments (e.g., Azure, GCP).

Ensure services are delivered in accordance with Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs), following ITIL/ITSM standards.

Support and lead platform-related change management and transformation projects, including migrations, upgrades, and cloud adoption.

Resource & Capacity Planning

Collaborate with delivery leads to identify and allocate technical resources for platform operations and initiatives.

Conduct capacity planning to optimize resource utilization and reduce operational overhead.

Process Optimization

Continuously assess and improve platform delivery processes to enhance scalability, reliability, and customer satisfaction.

Support planning and execution of work migration and platform consolidation efforts within the account.

Stakeholder Engagement

Participate in operational and steering committee meetings with account stakeholders.

Maintain strong communication with Account Delivery Managers (ADM), Client Managers, and Service Executives to align platform strategy with business goals.
Qualifications
-
Education & Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (advanced degree is a plus).

8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or platform management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

3+ years in outsourcing or managed services environments, preferably within a single-account delivery model.

Technical Skills
-
Strong hands-on experience with Linux systems (e.g., Red Hat); AIX knowledge is a plus.

Experience with Windows Server administration and integration.

Solid understanding of enterprise storage technologies (EMC, etc.).
-
Proficiency in virtualization platforms, especially VMware.
-
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, GCP) including IaaS and platform services.

Familiarity with infrastructure operations, service desk processes, and ITIL frameworks.

Experience with OpenShift is a plus.

Soft Skills

Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Strong customer and service orientation.

Fluent in English (oral and written).
Certifications (Preferred)

Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or equivalent
