Platform Operations Lead

This role leads DevOps engineers, SRE engineers, and IT Help Desk, combining deep technical expertise in infrastructure, reliability, and support operations with strong leadership to drive operational excellence in a cybersecurity-focused environment. Based in Dubai, UAE, you will oversee hybrid cloud (AWS/on-prem) systems, ensure high availability, and mentor teams on security best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor DevOps, SRE, and IT Help Desk, managing 5 engineers/technicians across infrastructure automation, reliability engineering, and end-user support.
• Architect and oversee hybrid infrastructure including AWS EKS/EC2, Kubernetes clusters (on-prem/EKS), networking, CICD pipelines (GitHub Actions/ArgoCD), and observability (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki).
• Drive SRE practices: define SLOs/SLIs, incident response, postmortems, disaster recovery, cost optimization, and DevSecOps (RBAC, secrets management, vulnerability scanning).
• Supervise IT support operations: ticketing (Jira/ServiceNow), user onboarding/offboarding, hardware/software troubleshooting (macOS/Windows), asset management, and security policy enforcement.​
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align engineering with business goals, conduct performance reviews, hire talents, and foster a culture of reliability and security.
• Implement automation with Terraform/Ansible, harden systems (SELinux, firewalls, TLS), and ensure compliance in a high-availability, cybersecurity context.

Your Skills and Experience

• 10+ years in DevOps/SRE/Infrastructure; Kubernetes EKS expertise; AWS (VPC, IAM, EKS); IaC (Ter.raform); CICD; Linux/networking; observability tools.
• 3+ years managing engineering/support teams; Mentoring, hiring, performance management; Incident leadership and postmortems.
• Ticketing/ITSM; User account management; Basic hardware troubleshooting (macOS/Windows).
• Bachelor's in Computer Science or related; strong English/Vietnamese communication.
• Willingness for on-call oversight and 24/7 system reliability.

Nice-to-Have

• Redis/Kafka at scale, Service meshes (Istio), Google Workspace/MDM, Compliance frameworks.

Pay: Up to AED36,000.00 per month
