Who We Are

The Platinion People Team Senior Specialist provides program management (PMO) support and skilled execution capabilities to support Consulting Team and Business Service Team priorities and people processes in the Platinion office. This is a tremendous opportunity to help refine and execute the CT & BST People Agenda in Platinion, with the goal of continuing to improve the end-to-end staff experience and offer best-in-class talent management support, while supporting other business needs. This individual will be integral to teaming with Talent Managers (TMs) and People Senior Manager to deliver on People priorities.

By design, the Platinion People Team Senior Specialist will work across a broad set of topics – with multiple priorities that will vary over time and in alignment with the priorities of the leadership team and the Talent Senior Managers. Example priority areas will include supporting and executing best-in-class programmatic efforts focused on CT affiliation and belonging; Partner upskilling; Diversity, Equity and Inclusion; Learning and Development incl. Onboarding, technical upskilling, certifications; Career frameworks definition; CT development; mentorship; mobility programs; and more. Importantly, this individual will team most closely with the Talent Managers to drive special projects, define scope and roadmap as well as and drive execution.

The Platinion People Team Senior Specialist will at times play an important role in special projects and people analytics, whether supporting analysis of cohort pulse check data, formal global surveys (e.g., People Survey), participation to existing trainings and feedback collection, or other ad hoc system/local analyses. In this capacity, the Senior Specialist teams with the TMs and People Senior Manager to translate insights into required action or changes.

The Senior Specialist will also coordinate with the TDA ecosystem, working with the TDA People Team Sr Manager and the TDA Programs Director to share best practices, identify areas for synergies and ensure plans are coordinated (e.g., TDA immersion sessions).

This role’s mandate may evolve over time as strategic programs and projects are identified & implemented. Key priorities will be evaluated on an ongoing basis, to align with business needs and individual goals.

What You'll Do

  • You are highly organized and able to plan appropriate project timelines, work backward from deadlines, identify milestones and owners, and execute against a project plan.
  • You are able to juggle multiple competing priorities without letting balls drop, including prioritizing your own work and seeking input where needed.
  • You enjoy problem solving and are good at it.
  • You feel at ease with conceptual thinking and think through the impacts that an initiative will have in the organization. At the same time, you are highly practical – taking a “get stuff done” approach to work.
  • You are comfortable in both “design” mode but also in “execution” mode – e.g., draft email communications, design a L&D curriculum for a given cohort, provide project status updates , track participants, create meeting agendas, conduct follow-ups to ensure agreed actions are completed.
  • You are a strong writer and are able to adapt your written communication to both the audience and the sender – e.g., email communication, slide writing.
  • You are adept at and enjoy conducting data analysis with Excel.
  • You are comfortable with technology topics, curious about AI and have experimented with technologies such as custom GPTs or Claude
  • You are adept at using tools to organize project work and collaboration such as Trello, Confluence. You are able to build strong relationships based on trust.
  • You are empathetic and consider other stakeholders’ perspectives. You team effectively across functions and across levels in the organization.
  • You are also a team player who is willing to pivot to take on different work/activities in a pinch.
  • You are comfortable brainstorming and working jointly as a team, and also owning your independent work and priorities.
  • You seek feedback and development, are flexible, adaptable, and eager to learn new skills and content.

What You'll Bring

This is a new position that sits at the intersection of a broad people agenda. In addition to the skills/strengths identified above, the Senior Specialist must have:

  • A minimum of three years of experience with increasing levels of responsibility, ideally at BCG.
  • An undergraduate degree
  • Comfort with a wide breadth of job responsibilities that cuts across People Agenda topics and types of day-to-day activity

Who You'll Work With

You will work most closely on a day-to-day basis with Talent Senior Managers (TSMs) and People and Business Operations Director. You will also have exposure to the broader leadership team (including Platinion and TDA leaders as well as Platinion Managing Director). You will collaborate with peers and others across people functions in Platinion and with TDA, e.g., staffing operations, Career Development, HR, Recruiting, L&D, and Finance. You will also work with members of the consulting team in key leadership roles, depending on the initiative or priority (for example: ADs/CDs leading Platinion strategic initiatives, etc.).
