Giggles and Fun is an indoor playground and birthday party venue with two Houston-area locations in Memorial (Houston) and Katy. We provide a fun, safe environment where kids can play freely and families can celebrate together. Our team is the heart of the experience, and we take pride in creating memorable moments for every guest who walks through our doors.

Role Summary

As a Guest Experience Associate, you will be the face of Giggles and Fun. This is a hands-on, hybrid role that blends front desk operations, open play supervision, and birthday party hosting. No two shifts are exactly the same, and the right candidate thrives in a fast-paced, kid-friendly environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and check in guests, verify waivers, and process open play payments
• Host birthday parties and ensure every guest has a positive, memorable experience
• Monitor the play area and enforce safety guidelines at all times
• Actively clean and maintain the facility throughout the shift and after closing
• Answer phones and assist callers with bookings, questions, and information
• Book parties and help manage the party schedule
• Restock snacks and supplies as needed
• Assist guests with any questions or concerns in a friendly, professional manner
• Perform other duties as needed to support daily operations and ensure a great experience for every guest

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old
• Friendly, energetic, and comfortable working with young children and families
• Reliable and punctual with weekday availability (required)
• Ability to stand and be on your feet for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs (restocking, party setup, etc.)
• Comfortable working in a loud, high-energy environment
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Prior customer service or childcare experience is a plus, but not required

Schedule & Compensation

• Primary shifts are on weekdays; facility hours are 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and 10:100 AM to 7:00 PM during summer
• Opening staff should arrive no later than 9:30 AM; closing may run up to one hour after close depending on party schedule
• Shift length may vary based on customer traffic and party bookings
• Starting pay: $9.00/hour
• Party hosts receive 100% of all party tips during hosted shifts, which can significantly enhance your hourly earnings

Work Environment

This role takes place in an active indoor playground. You will be on your feet most of the shift, working in a high-energy, occasionally loud environment around children and families. A positive attitude and genuine enjoyment of working with kids is a must.

Pay: $9.00 - $12.00 per hour
