Responsibilities
Child-Centered Learning & Development
- Design age-appropriate activities that promote sensory exploration, motor skills, and early cognitive development.
- Introduce foundational concepts like colors, shapes, numbers, and letters through play-based methods.
- Model social behaviors such as sharing, empathy, and turn-taking during group interactions.
Creative & Emotional Engagement
- Use songs, rhymes, puppets, and storytelling to build language and emotional expression.
- Facilitate purposeful play that encourages imagination, curiosity, and self-confidence.
- Observe and support children’s emotional needs, helping them navigate separation anxiety and social adjustment.
Safety, Hygiene & Routine
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment—indoors and outdoors.
- Oversee snack time, nap routines, and toilet training with patience and hygiene protocols.
- Respond calmly to minor accidents or emotional outbursts, ensuring children feel secure.
Parent Communication & Documentation
- Share daily updates and developmental observations with parents in a warm, professional tone.
- Collaborate with parents on behavioral strategies and milestone tracking.
- Document children’s progress through photos, anecdotal notes, and learning portfolios.
Professionalism & Collaboration
- Participate in weekly planning meetings with the academic coordinator or director.
- Align with the school’s inclusive philosophy, supporting neurodiverse and multilingual learners.
- Engage in ongoing training on child development, gender sensitivity, and classroom management.
