Plaza (IT) Technician

Job Overview:

Ensure smooth and uninterrupted IT operations at assigned toll plazas by maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting IT systems, networks, and devices, while assisting in installation and commissioning activities in strict compliance with organizational IT and security standards.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure uninterrupted 24/7 IT operations at the assigned toll plaza.
• Monitor network devices, servers, and IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
• Maintain records and documentation for system faults, network issues, and IT incidents.
• Coordinate closely with IT Supervisors and IT support teams to resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Identify, diagnose, and troubleshoot issues with computers, servers, networking equipment, printers, CCTV systems, and other IT devices.
• Assist in installation, configuration, and commissioning of IT hardware and software at toll plazas.
• Ensure prompt resolution of IT-related issues to minimize operational downtime.
• Conduct daily inspections and preventive maintenance of IT systems in coordination with supervisors.
• Adhere strictly to IT security protocols, safety procedures, and organizational policies.
• Escalate critical issues in a timely manner and provide regular reports on IT maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrade activities.

Qualifications:

• Minimum three-year diploma or equivalent qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Relevant technical certifications (e.g., networking, IT support, or system administration) will be an added advantage.

Required Skills:

• Hands-on experience with IT systems, networks, servers, computers, printers, and related hardware.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills for IT and network issues.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain accurate operational and maintenance records.
• Effective coordination and communication skills to work closely with supervisors and IT support teams.
• Safety- and security-conscious with disciplined execution of IT operational tasks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs38,000.00 - Rs40,000.00 per month
