Assistant Manager Mechanical Maintenance

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute daily and preventive maintenance plans across production lines.
• Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns and ensure quick restoration of equipment functionality.
• Supervise maintenance technicians, ensuring adherence to safety and operational SOPs.
• Support plant improvement projects and assist in shutdown and turnaround planning.
• Maintain and update maintenance records, checklists, and equipment history.
• Coordinate with production teams to plan interventions minimizing operational disruptions.
• Monitor lubrication schedules, vibration analysis, and machine condition monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with ISO, safety, and environmental standards in maintenance

Qualification:

• B.E. Mechanical (from a recognized university; PEC registration preferred)

Experience:

• 4–6 years of hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance within a continuous process or manufacturing industry.
• Strong background in preventive and corrective maintenance of rotary and static equipment blowers, compressors, chillers, gearboxes, pumps, and utilities.
• Proven ability to plan maintenance schedules, minimize downtime, and maintain asset reliability.
