We are seeking a skilled PLC Support & Maintenance Engineer to support, troubleshoot, and maintain PLC-based automation systems. The role involves ensuring smooth operation of industrial control systems, minimizing downtime, and providing technical support for manufacturing/production processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair PLC systems to ensure continuous plant operations
  • Provide day-to-day technical support for automation and control systems
  • Diagnose and resolve faults in PLC hardware, I/O modules, sensors, actuators, and control panels
  • Modify and update PLC programs as required for process improvements
  • Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance on automation equipment
  • Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability
  • Support commissioning and testing of new machines and automation projects
  • Maintain proper documentation for PLC programs, backups, and change logs
  • Coordinate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to resolve issues
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and plant procedures

PLC & Automation Systems

  • PLCs: Siemens / Allen-Bradley / Mitsubishi / Schneider / Omron (as applicable)
  • HMIs & SCADA systems
  • Industrial networks: Profibus, ProfNet, Ethernet/IP, Modbus
  • Drives, VFDs, servos, and motor control systems

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Automation Engineering
  • 2–5 years of experience in PLC support and maintenance (can be adjusted)
  • Strong knowledge of PLC troubleshooting and fault diagnosis
  • Experience with industrial automation systems in manufacturing environments
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and control schematics
  • Basic knowledge of sensors, actuators, and instrumentation
  • Willingness to work in shifts and respond to breakdowns

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with SCADA systems
  • Knowledge of robotics or motion control
  • Exposure to Industry 4.0 / data integration
  • Good communication and documentation skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,289.88 - ₹40,820.35 per month

Work Location: In person
