PLC/SCADA Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled PLC/SCADA Engineer to design, develop, implement, and maintain industrial automation systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with PLC programming, SCADA configuration, and control system integration in manufacturing or process industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, program, test, and troubleshoot PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems.
• Develop and maintain SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) applications for monitoring and control.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement automation solutions.
• Conduct system integration, testing, and commissioning of new automation systems.
• Diagnose and resolve issues in PLC and SCADA systems to ensure smooth operations.
• Prepare technical documentation, including system diagrams, manuals, and reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and industry standards.
• Provide technical support and training to operators and maintenance teams.
• Continuously evaluate and improve automation systems for efficiency and reliability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Automation, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Proven experience in PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider, etc.).
• Experience with SCADA systems (Wonderware, Ignition, WinCC, FactoryTalk, etc.).
• Knowledge of industrial networks (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus, etc.).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with industrial safety standards (IEC, NFPA, OSHA).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
