Plumber

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plumber to install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and/or industrial settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of plumbing systems, be capable of reading blueprints, and have the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in commercial and residential structures.
• Interpret blueprints and building specifications to map layout for pipes, drainage systems, and other plumbing materials.
• Install and test plumbing systems for safety, functionality, and compliance with local codes.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues and determine appropriate solutions.
• Perform routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals like electricians and HVAC technicians.
• Adhere to health and safety standards and local building codes.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a plumbing apprenticeship or vocational training program.
• Valid plumbing license or certification (as per local regulations).
• Proven experience as a plumber (typically 2–5 years).
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, tools, and techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Good physical condition and strength with the ability to lift heavy materials and work in tight spaces.
