Job Purpose
The Plumber will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems and related equipment within the medical centre. The role ensures safe, efficient, and uninterrupted water supply, drainage, and sanitation to support healthcare operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including water supply lines, drainage systems, sanitary fixtures, and medical gas pipelines (if applicable).
- Inspect and diagnose plumbing problems, including leaks, clogs, or malfunctions in pipes, valves, and fixtures.
- Ensure regular preventive maintenance of plumbing systems, water heaters, pumps, water filtration units, and related equipment.
- Coordinate and promptly respond to emergency plumbing repairs to minimize disruption to healthcare services.
- Maintain records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.
- Comply with safety, health, and infection-control standards in all plumbing-related work within medical areas.
- Collaborate with the facility management team, contractors, and suppliers for plumbing-related projects.
- Ensure all plumbing work adheres to local regulations, healthcare facility codes, and quality standards.
- Perform routine testing of water pressure, temperature, and other systems to ensure optimal performance.
Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in plumbing is required.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of plumbing experience, preferably in healthcare or large facility environments.
- Knowledge of medical centre plumbing standards, water treatment, and sanitary systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and plumbing schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights when needed.
- Must be physically fit to lift, carry, and handle tools and materials required for plumbing work.
- Willingness to respond to emergency calls outside regular working hours.

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED2,800.00 per month
