Responsibilities
- Install plumbing systems including water supply lines, drainage, and sewage systems in trailers and portacabins.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and plumbing schematics.
- Fit and secure pipes using welding equipment, brackets, clamps, and other tools.
- Install water tanks, heaters, sinks, toilets, and other plumbing fixtures.
- Test plumbing systems for leaks and functionality.
- Repair or replace broken or leaking pipes, fixtures, or fittings.
- Work collaboratively with fabrication and electrical teams to ensure proper integration of plumbing systems.
- Ensure installations comply with industry standards and local plumbing codes.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a plumber, preferably in a manufacturing or modular construction setting.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and blueprints.
- Familiarity with both PPR, PVC, copper, and flexible piping systems.
- Knowledge of local plumbing regulations and safety standards.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to work in confined or elevated spaces.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
