PLUMBER

Job Summary:

The Plumber is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems and fixtures in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. The role ensures all plumbing work complies with building codes, safety standards, and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in both commercial and residential structures.
• Read and interpret blueprints and building plans to assess material and installation requirements.
• Inspect plumbing systems and identify issues such as leaks, blockages, or corrosion.
• Test plumbing systems for safety, functionality, and compliance with regulations.
• Install and service water supply lines, sanitary systems, water heaters, and pumps.
• Cut, assemble, and join pipes using various methods such as soldering, threading, welding, or PVC gluing.
• Collaborate with other trades (e.g., electricians, HVAC technicians, builders) to coordinate installations.
• Respond to emergency plumbing calls and perform troubleshooting and repairs.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces in good condition.
• Follow occupational health and safety standards at all times.
