Plumber

Key Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including water supply lines, drainage systems, and fixtures.
• Conduct regular inspections of plumbing infrastructure to identify and address issues proactively.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs on pipes, valves, faucets, toilets, water heaters, pumps, and other plumbing components.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests, including leaks, clogs, and system failures.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to extend equipment lifespan and reduce downtime.
• Work with building management to schedule service tasks and minimize disruption to occupants.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, materials used, and reports.
• Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
• Collaborate with other maintenance staff, electricians, HVAC technicians, and contractors as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship certification preferred.
• Proven experience as a plumber, ideally in building maintenance or facility operations.
