Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems using hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise installation and repairs.
• Perform welding tasks when necessary to join pipes or repair fixtures, adhering to safety standards.
• Conduct remodeling projects by assembling plumbing components and integrating systems seamlessly into existing structures.
• Use construction site experience to manage heavy lifting and ensure safety protocols are followed at all times.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues within plumbing and HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems to optimize performance.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including schematics updates and inspection reports.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction plumbing with a strong understanding of plumbing codes and safety regulations.
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and basic math for precise measurements.
• Knowledge of welding techniques and ability to read blueprints, schematics, and mechanical diagrams.
• Familiarity with HVAC systems, remodeling processes, carpentry skills, and handyman experience is a plus.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on construction sites; valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) is advantageous.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with basic understanding of schematics and system layouts.

Pay: $26.72 - $32.18 per hour
