Plumber

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems. The ideal candidate will ensure all plumbing work is completed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with applicable standards.

Major Job Responsibilities

1. Installation of Plumbing Systems

• Install pipes, fittings, fixtures, and other plumbing systems
• Set up water supply lines, drainage systems, and sanitation units
• Ensure proper alignment and functionality of installed systems

2. Maintenance and Repair Work

• Perform routine maintenance of plumbing systems and equipment
• Repair leaks, blockages, and damaged pipes or fixtures
• Replace faulty components as required

3. Fault Diagnosis and Troubleshooting

• Identify plumbing issues using appropriate tools and techniques
• Diagnose system malfunctions and determine effective solutions
• Ensure timely resolution of issues to minimize disruption

4. Compliance with Safety and Standards

• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines during work
• Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and regulations
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the work environment

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Strong understanding of plumbing systems, tools, and materials
• Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings and layouts
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of safety standards and procedures
• Physical stamina and ability to work in various environments
• Good communication and teamwork skills

IT Skills (Basic)

• Basic knowledge of documentation and reporting (if required)
• Familiarity with maintenance logs or reporting tools (preferred)

Qualification

• Relevant technical certification or diploma in Plumbing (preferred)
• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 1–3 years of experience in plumbing installation and maintenance
• Experience in residential, commercial, or industrial settings preferred
