Plumber

We are seeking a skilled Plumber to carry out the installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of plumbing and drainage systems within facilities. The successful candidate will ensure the reliable operation of water supply, sanitary, and drainage systems while supporting the overall maintenance and facilities management functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of plumbing, water supply, drainage, and sanitary systems.
• Install, repair, and replace pipes, valves, fittings, fixtures, pumps, and related plumbing equipment.
• Inspect plumbing systems and identify leaks, blockages, corrosion, and other maintenance requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues in a timely and efficient manner.
• Carry out routine inspections of water tanks, pumps, piping networks, and drainage systems.
• Respond promptly to emergency plumbing repairs and service requests.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and completed work orders.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other maintenance personnel to ensure smooth facility operations.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum 1-Year Professional Trade Course Certificate in Plumbing, Fitting, or a related trade.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the service sector, facilities management, or maintenance environment.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, water distribution networks, drainage systems, and sanitary installations.
• Ability to read and interpret plumbing drawings and technical specifications.
• Experience in healthcare facilities maintenance will be an added advantage.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in maintenance of pumps, water heaters, sanitary fixtures, and drainage systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of plumbing safety standards and best maintenance practices.
• Ability to work independently and respond effectively to emergency maintenance situations.
