Plumber Technician

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment
• Diagnose plumbing issues and determine appropriate solutions
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and plumbing codes
• Inspect plumbing systems to ensure proper operation and compliance
• Install and repair pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures
• Respond to service calls and emergency repairs as needed
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment
• Follow all safety procedures and local plumbing regulations

Requirements

• Proven experience as a plumber
• Valid plumbing license or certification (as required by state/local law)
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and safety standards
• Ability to use hand and power tools effectively
• Good problem-solving and communication skills
• Reliable transportation and punctuality

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in residential and/or commercial plumbing
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Backflow, gas line, or drain-cleaning experience
• OSHA or safety training certification
