Job Title: Plumber

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plumber to install, maintain, and repair piping systems, fixtures, and equipment for water, drainage, and gas systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. The ideal candidate is dedicated to safety, knowledgeable in local building codes, and capable of working independently or as part of a larger construction and maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation: Install and assemble new plumbing systems, including pipes, tubing, fittings, drains, and control valves, following blueprints and specifications.
• Maintenance & Repair: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair existing plumbing systems, including fixing leaks, unclogging drains, repairing or replacing broken fixtures (toilets, sinks, faucets), and addressing water pressure issues.
• System Testing: Conduct regular inspections and use pressure gauges, hydrostatic testing, and other equipment to test plumbing systems for leaks and compliance with safety standards.
• Code Compliance: Ensure all work meets applicable local, state, and national plumbing and building codes (e.g., Uniform Plumbing Code, International Plumbing Code).
• Safety Adherence: Strictly follow all safety protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to trenching and hazardous materials handling procedures.
• Water Heater Service: Install, repair, and maintain hot water systems, including traditional tank heaters and tankless systems.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all work performed, materials used, time spent on jobs, and any recommendations for future maintenance or repairs.
• Client Interaction: Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, explaining the nature of the work, estimates, and solutions.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Experience: 3+ years of proven experience as a Plumber, holding a Journeyman or Master Plumber certification.
• Education: High school diploma or GED required. Completion of a certified plumbing apprenticeship program is highly preferred.
• Technical Knowledge: Proficient in using hand and power tools common to the plumbing trade (e.g., wrenches, pipe cutters, threading machines).
• Licensure: Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
• Problem-Solving: Strong diagnostic skills to identify the cause of plumbing issues quickly and accurately.
• Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills for collaborating with team members and explaining issues to clients.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment.
• Comfortable working in cramped or elevated spaces, including crawlspaces, attics, and ladders.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, climb, and kneel for extended periods.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1,200.00 - AED1,800.00 per month
