Duties

• Support licensed plumbers by carrying tools, materials, and equipment to job sites
• Assist with the installation and repair of plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances
• Prepare work areas by cleaning and organizing tools and materials for efficient workflow
• Use hand tools and power tools safely to cut, thread, assemble, and install plumbing components
• Help with pipe threading, fitting, and assembly tasks under supervision
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and site regulations

Skills

• Basic knowledge of construction practices and construction plumbing techniques
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, welding, and pipe threading
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings accurately
• Familiarity with HVAC systems and general maintenance procedures is a plus
• Mechanical aptitude with an understanding of plumbing systems and schematics
• Strong physical stamina for lifting heavy materials and working in various positions on-site
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions precisely
• Prior construction site experience or handyman skills are highly desirable
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks
• Knowledge of carpentry or remodeling is beneficial for versatile support roles
