Plumbing and Heating Engineer

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumbing and Heating Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing and heating systems across a range of residential, commercial, and industrial properties. Duties

• Installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing and heating systems in various settings.
• Conducting routine inspections to identify potential issues and prevent system failures.
• Using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete tasks accurately.
• Reading technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to execute installations correctly.
• Performing heavy lifting of equipment and materials safely during installation or repairs.
• Applying mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot complex system problems effectively.
• Ensuring all work complies with relevant health and safety regulations.
• Assisting with carpentry tasks related to system installation or refurbishment projects.
• Operating commercial vehicles for transportation of tools, equipment, or materials as required.
• Maintaining accurate records of work completed and parts used for each project.

Skills

• Proficiency in plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance techniques.
• Experience with welding and the use of various hand tools and power tools.
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to heating systems and associated components.
• Basic mathematical skills for measurements, calculations, and system diagnostics.
• Competence in carpentry tasks relevant to system fitting or refurbishment work.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to manual handling guidelines.
• Valid driving licence suitable for commercial driving duties.
• Assembly skills for constructing or installing complex systems or components.

Pay: £25,828.66-£53,802.00 per year
