Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Plumbing Dispatcher to coordinate and manage plumbing service appointments, technician schedules, and customer communications. In this vital role, you will serve as the central hub for dispatching plumbing technicians efficiently, ensuring timely service delivery, and maintaining seamless communication between clients, field staff, and suppliers. Responsibilities

• Schedule plumbing service appointments by coordinating with customers and field technicians using transportation management systems.
• Utilize GPS tools to optimize routing and ensure efficient dispatching of plumbing crews.
• Manage inbound and outbound communication via multi-line phone systems, maintaining professional phone etiquette and clear communication with clients, vendors, and team members.
• Track and update job statuses and technician availability..
• Monitor fleet management details including vehicle assignments, shipping & receiving schedules, and maintenance needs to support timely service delivery.
• Analyze operational data to improve dispatching processes, transportation planning, and overall logistics efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records, and service logs while adhering to safety standards and company policies.

Experience

• Proven experience in dispatching within a logistics or transportation environment; experience with plumbing or service industries is a plus.
• Strong familiarity with transportation management.
• Knowledge of GPS technology, GIS mapping tools, and routing optimization techniques.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle multi-line phone systems professionally.
• Demonstrated analysis skills for evaluating logistics operations and implementing improvements.
• Proficiency in data entry tasks.
