Plumbing Draughtsman

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Plumbing Draughtsman to join our MEP design team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed plumbing and drainage drawings, ensuring compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed plumbing and drainage shop drawings, schematics, and layouts using AutoCAD/Revit.
• Coordinate with other disciplines (HVAC, Electrical, Civil, Structural) to ensure proper system integration.
• Review design drawings and prepare as-built drawings after project completion.
• Ensure all drawings comply with local authority standards and codes.
• Assist engineers and project managers with technical drafting support.
• Maintain drawing records, revision history, and documentation.

Requirements:

• Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5-8 years of experience as a Plumbing Draughtsman in the construction or MEP industry.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit MEP is an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of plumbing systems, water supply, drainage, and fire-fighting layouts.
• Ability to interpret design drawings and specifications accurately.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
