ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY:
As a Plumbing & Drywall Superintendent, you will thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment—where precision, service excellence, and a relentless eye for detail are non-negotiable. You’ll use your advanced plumbing knowledge to support our crews across the region working on residential high rise projects to help ensure code compliance and maintain high standards of productivity, safety, and quality, ensuring every project meets our high standards.

This Superintendent role requires the demonstrated ability to effectively advise and support Project Managers and teams on our projects in person and travel as needed regionally including staying on site short-term or long term. This role is intended to be a full-time exempt position, based remotely in the region, and reports to a Division Manager.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Effectively supervise, guide, and mentor project managers, plumbers, drywall mechanics across multiple job sites
  • Monitor performance, compliance, and ensure quality of workmanship
  • Review plans and blueprints; ensure work conforms to project specifications, building codes, and regulations
  • Oversee all phases of installations: underground, rough in, top out, trim‐out, fixtures, drains, vent stacks, water supply lines, framing, finishes, paint etc.
  • Conduct inspections and quality checks; identify and correct issues; prepare punch lists, ensure timely resolution.
  • Monitor materials: verify correct materials are delivered, used correctly, and stored properly.
  • Maintain safety standards on site; ensure crew follows safety protocols, required PPE, and complies with OSHA/local laws.
  • Communicate regularly with project management, subcontractors, inspectors, and vendors regarding progress, delays, and plumbing‐specific needs.
  • Efficiently resolve problems that arise due to resident and client concerns, inclement weather, emergencies, or other issues
  • Travel as needed to visit multiple job sites and to transport needed materials between vendors and/or job sites
  • Maintain, foster, and develop productive relationships including with co-workers, other departments, clients, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Identify and recommend process improvements, ensuring improved quality and deliverables

KEY REQUIREMENTS:
  • Minimum 5 years of hands on experience in plumbing trade with at least 2 3 years supervising plumbing crews on high-rise residential projects
  • Demonstrated proficiency in all phases of residential multi-unit plumbing installation
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, plumbing schematics, and building plans
  • Thorough knowledge of plumbing codes, local/state regulations, and inspection processes
  • Excellent leadership, communication, training, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • A positive “no job is too big or too small” attitude
  • Proficiency in English, written and spoken, and excellent presentation skills
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills including with email, internet, Word, and Excel
  • Must have a personal vehicle suitable for regular local and regional transport
  • Must be able to travel locally and regionally and have a valid driver’s license
  • Must be able to relocate for short-term or long-term projects
  • Must be able to regularly lift and carry 25-50 lbs and be capable of working at heights, in high rise environments
  • High School degree or GED
PREFERRED CANDIDATES will also have journeyman or master plumber credentials; familiarity with construction management software; OSHA 30 certification; be proficient in Spanish; and/or have prior related military or civil experience.

Salary Range: $90,000 -$110,000 base pay based upon experience and qualifications
