Plumbing Engineer

Job Title: Plumbing Engineer – High-Rise Building Construction

Job Summary:
The Plumbing Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, executing, and supervising all plumbing and drainage works for high-rise building projects. The role ensures compliance with project specifications, local authority regulations, quality standards, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and study plumbing design drawings, IFC drawings, and shop drawings for high-rise buildings.
• Plan and supervise installation of water supply systems (domestic & chilled water), drainage systems, storm water systems, and sewage networks.
• Coordinate with MEP team, consultants, architects, structural engineers, and subcontractors.
• Ensure plumbing works are executed as per approved drawings and local authority regulations.
• Monitor site progress and ensure timely completion as per project schedule.
• Prepare material submittals, method statements, and technical documentation.
• Conduct inspections and coordinate with consultants for approvals.
• Manage subcontractors and site teams to maintain quality and productivity.
• Identify and resolve technical issues on site.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company HSE policies.
• Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, and assist in procurement of plumbing materials.
• Attend progress meetings and provide technical updates to project management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in plumbing works for high-rise building construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, water supply, drainage, sewage, and stormwater systems.
• Experience in handling full-cycle MEP works in residential/commercial high-rise towers.
• Good knowledge of local authority regulations (UAE/GCC experience preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED9,000.00 - AED14,000.00 per month
