Job Title: MEP Project Engineer – Plumbing

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented MEP Project Engineer (Plumbing) to oversee and manage plumbing and drainage works for ongoing projects in Qatar. The candidate will be responsible for execution, coordination, and ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and local authority regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, execute, and supervise all plumbing, drainage, and firefighting system works at the project site.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Review plumbing drawings, specifications, and BOQs to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure all works comply with local authority regulations, including QCDD requirements.
• Monitor project progress and ensure completion within timelines and budget.
• Prepare and submit technical documents such as shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues effectively.
• Coordinate with other MEP disciplines for integrated project delivery.
• Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards on site.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Plumbing Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in MEP projects, preferably in Qatar or GCC.
• Mandatory: UPDA (MMUP) Certified Engineer.
• Mandatory: QCDD License/Certification.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, firefighting systems, and local regulations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant engineering tools.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in high-rise, commercial, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong problem-solving and site management abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
