Overview
We are seeking experienced and skilled Plumbing Forman to lead and oversee plumbing projects on construction sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction plumbing, mechanical systems, and team leadership. This role involves managing daily operations, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering high-quality work in a timely manner. Candidates with a comprehensive understanding of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction processes are encouraged to apply. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects including remodeling, commercial builds, and HVAC installations.

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate plumbing installation activities on construction sites
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate implementation of plans
• Operate hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding machinery safely and efficiently
• Lead a team of plumbers and laborers to complete projects within deadlines
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and project specifications
• Perform heavy lifting and assist with remodeling or construction site tasks as needed
• Oversee the use of construction materials, including pipes, fittings, and HVAC components
• Conduct quality inspections throughout the project lifecycle
• Collaborate with project managers, electricians, carpenters, and other trades to ensure seamless workflow

Skills

• Extensive experience in construction plumbing and general construction site work
• Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and mechanical knowledge
• Skilled in welding, pipe threading, and the use of hand tools and power tools
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems and remodeling processes
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in demanding environments
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing layouts
• Knowledge of carpentry, maintenance person tasks, assembly work, and remodeling techniques
• Valid commercial driving license is a plus for transporting materials or equipment
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively
• Strong safety awareness with adherence to OSHA standards

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $31.33 - $50.00 per hour
