Plumbing Project Manager

Role Description

The Plumbing Project Manager is responsible for overseeing commercial plumbing projects from start to finish. This role manages project schedules, budgets, communication, materials, manpower, and coordination with clients, general contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to project requirements.

Qualifications / Responsibilities

  • Manage all communication related to assigned projects, including schedules, updates, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project clarifications
  • Coordinate with general contractors, clients, vendors, subcontractors, field supervisors, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle
  • Review project plans, specifications, contracts, and scope requirements to ensure successful project execution
  • Manage project schedules, manpower planning, materials, equipment, and overall job progress
  • Track project budgets, costs, labor hours, change orders, and project profitability
  • Identify potential risks, scope gaps, scheduling conflicts, and value engineering opportunities
  • Coordinate material procurement and ensure materials are ordered, delivered, and available as needed
  • Maintain organized and accurate project documentation, including reports, meeting notes, revisions, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
  • Ensure all work complies with project specifications, plumbing codes, safety standards, and company procedures
  • Serve as the main point of contact for general contractors, clients, field teams, vendors, and subcontractors on assigned projects
  • Conduct project meetings and provide regular updates to leadership and project stakeholders
  • Work closely with estimating and operations teams during project handoff and startup
  • Monitor project progress to ensure deadlines, quality expectations, and customer requirements are met
  • Review, prepare, and submit project-related documentation in a timely and professional manner
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines effectively
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to make decisions in a fast-paced construction environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,467.14 - $86,067.96 per year
