Plumbing Project Manager - Plumbing IL License is REQUIRED

We are a well-established plumbing company serving the Peoria, IL area, seeking a licensed Illinois plumber with strong leadership skills to join our team as a Plumbing Manager. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who respects the craft of plumbing, leads by example, and is passionate about mentoring and developing a team of drain technicians. The ideal candidate will enhance both the technical skills and sales performance of the team while maintaining exceptional service standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of drain technicians, fostering skill growth, professionalism, and a culture of excellence.

  • Provide hands-on guidance, coaching, and technical training to ensure efficiency, high-quality service, and mastery of plumbing systems.

  • Set, monitor, and achieve team sales and performance goals, encouraging upselling while maintaining a customer-focused approach.

  • Oversee scheduling, dispatching, and workflow to maximize productivity and ensure timely, reliable service delivery.

  • Serve as a point of escalation for complex plumbing service issues, providing expert solutions and support to staff and customers.

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and Illinois plumbing regulations.

  • Manage tools, equipment, and inventory to maintain operational readiness and efficiency.

  • Maintain accurate records of project performance, service calls, and technician development progress.


    • Licensed plumber with a deep understanding of, and respect for, the craft of plumbing.

    • Proven leadership and team management experience, with a track record of mentoring, coaching, and developing technicians.

    • Strong communication skills, with the ability to lead by example and inspire high performance.

    • Demonstrated success in driving team productivity, achieving performance metrics, and meeting sales goals.

    • Skilled at troubleshooting, problem-solving, and providing guidance on complex plumbing and service issues.

    • Knowledgeable in safety protocols, company policies, and industry best practices, ensuring compliance and operational excellence.

    • Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of effectively managing schedules, inventory, and workflow to optimize team efficiency.
