Plumbing Supervisor

Job Description:

The Plumbing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance activities. The role ensures that all work is carried out in compliance with safety standards, building codes, and company policies, while leading and coordinating a team of plumbing professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of plumbers, pipefitters, and related staff.
• Ensure all plumbing tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and on schedule.
• Inspect installations and repairs to verify compliance with building codes, safety standards, and project specifications.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
• Plan, assign, and review work orders and schedules.
• Monitor the use of materials, tools, and equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and cost-effectiveness.
• Report project progress, challenges, and outcomes to management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong technical knowledge of plumbing systems, installations, and relevant codes/regulations.
• Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide staff.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) for clear instructions and effective coordination with team members, contractors, and clients.
• Problem-solving abilities with a focus on efficiency and quality.
• Relevant vocational or technical certification in plumbing (preferred).
