Job Summary

The Plumbing Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating plumbing installation, maintenance, repair, and testing activities at construction sites, commercial facilities, airports, residential buildings, or industrial projects. The role ensures that plumbing works are completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications, aviation standards, local regulations, and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily plumbing activities and assign tasks to plumbers and helpers.
• Review drawings, layouts, specifications, and work schedules before execution.
• Ensure installation and maintenance of water supply, drainage, sewage, stormwater, and piping systems as per approved drawings and standards.
• Monitor manpower productivity and site progress.
• Coordinate with civil, electrical, HVAC, firefighting, and other MEP teams.
• Conduct inspections and quality checks on completed plumbing works.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, airport authority standards, and company HSE policies.
• Prepare material requests and coordinate delivery of plumbing materials and tools.
• Maintain records of completed work, manpower attendance, inspections, and reports.
• Troubleshoot plumbing system issues and provide technical guidance to the team.
• Ensure testing and commissioning activities are properly carried out.
• Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Attend site meetings and provide progress updates to management.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma or ITI certification in Plumbing, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3–7 years of experience in plumbing supervision.
• Preferred: Previous experience working in airport projects or airport facility maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, piping materials, fittings, and installation methods.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Familiarity with local plumbing codes, aviation facility standards, and safety regulations.
• Good leadership and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and reporting documentation is an advantage.

Working Conditions

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
