Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Plumbing Trainer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering comprehensive training programmes to aspiring plumbers, ensuring they acquire essential skills and knowledge in the field. This role offers an excellent opportunity to share expertise, foster professional development, and contribute to the growth of future plumbing professionals. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, organisational abilities, and a passion for teaching.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality training to learners of all levels
  • Support, assess, and mentor trainees throughout their learning journey
  • Ensure training is engaging, practical, and aligned with industry standards
  • Maintain accurate learner records and assessments
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our training programmes
  • Develop and deliver engaging training sessions on plumbing techniques, safety procedures, and industry standards.
  • Prepare training materials, manuals, and practical demonstrations to facilitate effective learning.
  • Assess trainees’ progress through practical assessments and theoretical tests, providing constructive feedback.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in plumbing technology and industry regulations to ensure training content remains current.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong industry knowledge and a passion for teaching
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A positive, energetic attitude that fits our vibrant team culture
  • Previous training or assessing experience is desirable (but not essential – training can be provided)
  • Proven experience in plumbing, with a thorough understanding of industry practices and safety standards.
  • Strong organisational skills to manage training programmes effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, capable of explaining complex concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Outstanding organisational skills to plan lessons efficiently and manage trainee records accurately.
  • Ability to motivate learners and adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles.
